Innovation is often only possible (or at least made easier) by collaborating with partners having the appropriate skills, expertise and resources. The Framework Programme 7 offers the facility to engage in collaborative research and receive up to 75% funding from the European Commission.

• Provide you with an understanding of how to get involved in the programme and collaborate with others to exploit its benefits
• Explain the priority areas identified by the Commission for funding in forthcoming calls
• Introduce the services available in Yorkshire and Humber to help evaluate the potential for your organisation to participate and to support those considering participation

Intelligent Formulation launches the new Formulation Innovation Network

 

The Formulation Innovation Network’s launch workshop “Doing More With Less”, in Leeds on 2nd February, showed the strength of support for a collaborative enterprise in formulation innovation. Launched by Iain Gray, Chief Executive of the Technology Strategy Board, it was attended by more than 60 industry representatives from technology, private- and public-sector organisations.

 

Attendees listed to three keynote presentations and then in interactive group sessions they answered questions posed by the speakers. Intelligent Formulation will be using the results of these group sessions to set the future direction of the Formulation Innovation Network.
