Roadmap
What is the Formulation Technology Roadmap and what is it for?
A technology roadmap helps companies and organisations plan for the future. By taking into account a wide variety of societal trends and market drivers it helps make sense of a complex world and provide valuable direction for strategy development as well as for shorter-term activities.
Formulation Technology is complex – it underpins many different industry sectors and requires a broad range of technical competencies. At Intelligent Formulation we have held developed the Formulation Technology Roadmap with the assistance of individuals from companies across different formulating sectors as well as from academics.
By evaluating the important societal, technological, environmental, political and economic drivers the Formulation Technology Roadmap can help you to:
- Provide focus for your R&D effort and keep you ahead in the knowledge game
- Identify current and future product trends and opportunities, including those happening outside your own sector
- Identify common areas of interest for collaborative partnerships
At Intelligent Formulation we’ve used the Formulation Technology Roadmap ourselves. We were able to take its outputs and define seven priority technical themes to provide focal points for our own programme of workshops, webinars and collaborative project activities.
Further details on the Formulation Technology Roadmap can be found in the Partners area of our website and our priority technical themes are described in our blog article.
